Sally Hansen White On

Nail of the Day ~ White On by Sally Hansen

I'm not sure how I feel about this polish. I've seen it on others and thought it would be the perfect white. Not to mention I usually love Sally Hansen polishes. I seriously should have taken a picture after the first coat to show the nightmare on my nails. Streaky is an understatement! It looked like I'd painted white out straight from the bottle. It didn't even cover some of my nail. If I tried to go back over it, an even bigger mess. I stuck with it though because I thought there is no way that so  many use this without having a good outcome. The second coat was much less streaky but still had some "bald" spots. You can slightly see them in the picture above. To add to the frustration, it started to chip the very next day. If anyone has a good recommendation for a white, non-streaky, cream polish, please let me know. At this time, I really can't recommend this one.

    1. Hi, I've heard so many talk about that one. I've even picked it up only to put it back. I think I'll give it a try. Thank you!

  2. I'm not feeling this one either Crystal. I don't have any white polish so I can't recommend one. Take care! Stacie xo

  4. Crystal, I like "Polar Bare" from the Sally Hansen Complete Manicure line. I've yet to find a white polish that isn't somewhat streaky, but this is the best I've found. My nails are completely covered after the second coat. Try it out :) -Kimberly

  5. Same issues with this that OP had. I think white polishes in general tend to be streaky. I've had good luck using the sponge method to put white polish on.
