Cover Girl My Papaya

I have to say I loved this one from Cover Girl as well. I was a little unsure because it looked like it may have a slight shimmer in the bottle. However, that really doesn't translate to the nails. This is a beautiful pink-toned coral with a very slight shimmer. This one wears really great like all of the others I've tried so far from Cover Girl. I did compare two other corals from my collection just so you can see the true tone of this one. Pretty sure this will be one I'm wearing on my vacation.

*No sunlight photo due to no sun, lol. Also, you may notice a slight mark on my index finger. That was totally my fault for ironing my husband's shirt before taking pictures for the blog. ;)

Cover Girl Coral Silk

If you follow my NEW second channel, JustMissCrys on YouTube, then you saw where I hauled this the other day. I've really been into these new Cover Girl nail polishes. I also talked about them here in my February Favorites video. The formula is great! I even mentioned Non-Stop Stone lasted through bathroom cleaning without even a chip!

Coral Silk is a beautiful coral/orange cream shade. In some light I think it leans more orange. In others, definitely a coral. I think that's what I like most about it. I took a picture of two other coral polishes just so you can see the tone of this one. One minor issue though - it already started chipping by day two. I didn't have that problem with the other two Cover Girl polishes. However, I have to say that it may have been my sloppy polish job. Although, this one did seem a little thicker.

Too Faced Boudoir Eyes Palette

I purchased this palette several weeks ago from Ulta. It had just been released and was the latest addition to their already popular 9-pan palettes.  It was the last one so I grabbed it. I had a little bit of buyers remorse going on after that, so it sat unopened on my vanity. {the horror, I know!} I have to say I own the Natural Eyes Palette and love it! It's one of my most-reached-for palettes. I've passed on their other releases but this one definitely caught my attention...

Price - $36.00 at Ulta
Includes - 9 Matte and Shimmer Shadows plus Guide
From the Box - Go beyond the Boudoir with this sultry palette containing nine matte and shimmer shadows. Go from softly nude to subtly seductive in three easy steps. All of the shadows swatched quite well except for Satin Sheets. It could be a combination of my skintone and the shade itself. All gorgeous, somewhat neutral shades with some darker ones for creating a dramatic eye. I like tin-like feel of the packaging and think this would be a great palette for travel.

L'Oreal Royalty Reinvented

Nail of the Day ~ Royalty Reinvented by L'Oreal, Trend Setter Collection Spring 2013

Once again L'Oreal has come up with a unique shade. I really don't even know how to describe this one except for being lilac purple.  I have nothing even close to it in my collection. Everything I have is more pastel lilac. This is more of a deep lilac cream. Perfect for spring!

As with all L'Oreal polishes, the formula isn't my favorite but the colors are so unique that I over look it. I applied two coats so you can see how that looks. Like with most L'Oreal, you could do three to make it more opaque. This one was very streaky and thin with the first coat but I stuck with it knowing the formula. I was surprised that the second coat went on very opaque. I was expecting to do three coats with this one. Sure, you can see a few bare spots but overall, it looks nice. If you like purple polish of any kind, put this on your "spring must-have list". :)

L'Oreal Members Only

If you like a berry pink, this color is for you! I'm always looking for a good berry-magenta mid-toned pink. I think Members Only is a great one. This is what I was hoping Violet Vixen would be. If you've seen any of my other L'Oreal polish posts, you know I love the colors but the formula isn't great. Not bad, just ok. They remind me a lot of Essie: the colors are great but the formula is hit and miss.

I used two coats but you could definitely use three with this one. The formula is a little thinner than I like. Again, I get sucked in my the colors. This one is with the new displays with the great spring shades like a bright green, lilac, tiffany blue, etc. The display is eye-catching for sure. I purchased mine at Walmart for just under $5.00. I've found that to be the lowest price but I've seen the newer display at Walgreens and Target as well.
