UPDATED Skincare Routine + NEW Eye Cream

I've had a lot of questions about my skincare routine lately and if I'm still using the same products. I thought I'd share my routine with you and let you know how my skin is doing. So many of you have noticed the changes in my skin {for the better} and I thank you for that. As someone who's never had great skin, I'm really enjoying the benefits of these products. Let me know if you have used any of these products or what your favorite skincare product is.

*A list of all the products and where to purchase are in the info section of the video. :)

FOTD: Maybelline Chic Naturals with NYX Butter Gloss

If you follow me on Instagram, then you've probably seen this photo already. If you don't, you should! ;) I always get a lot of questions about the makeup I'm wearing when I post a photo or a video. Most of the time I'm pretty good about listing what I'm wearing in a particular video in the info section. Speaking of videos, you'll see this look in two videos coming up - Rimmel Exaggerate Shadow Primer Review and a Review/Demo of the Elf Flawless Finish Foundation. Both can be found on my YouTube Chanel once they are posted.

These pics are taken by me with my iPhone so they may not be the quality you're used to seeing on here. Those pics are taken with my Nikon DSLR camera. No filters here though so you can see the true colors hopefully.

FACE - MUFE HD Primer, Elf Flawless Finish Foundation, MAC Pro Longwear concealer under eyes {my fav}, Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer {new, just trying out} on any redness or blemishes, Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, Wet n Wild Everything Under The Sun as bronzer {this was LE a few years ago but I love it!}, L'Oreal Baby Blossom blush, Wet n Wild Reserve Your Cabana as hightlight and under eyes.

EYES - Maybelline Chic Naturals in Dusk. {I picked this up a few weekends ago but put it back. Then I saw Emily show it in a blogpost and went back for it. Very soft, neutrals. Loving it so far!} Elf Pink Ice in inner corners, L'Oreal Brown Liquid liner on top lash line, MAC Stubborn Brown pencil on waterline, L'Oreal Telescopic mascara with Jordana Best Lash Extreme mascara. {i think the Telescopic separates nicely and the Jordana gives great volume}

BROWS - NYX Bare My Soul shadow. I've also started playing with my old Anastasia brow stencils again. It's so hard to get them even sometimes. I've got crazy brows!

LIPS - Starlooks Tickle Me Pink liner {from June Ipsy Bag} NYX Butter Gloss in Vanilla Cream Pie {SO many of you told me this was a must-get color when I showed the others in my haul video}

July Ipsy Bag Review

Hey everyone! So if you didn't see last month's post, this is my second Ipsy Bag. I was fortunate enough to have a really great bag last month so I was excited to see what this month's bag held. Let's just say it wasn't as impressive but two items were pretty good. Let's take a look...

All bags are slightly different depending on your own beauty profile you fill out on the site. Some items are the same brand but colors will vary. {I didn't include the pricing for the two small samples that you cannot purchase on their own.}

Here's what my bag had in it:
1. bhcosmetics California Collection Eyeshadow Sample - $9.95 for the full size palette
2. Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Renewal Beach Spray - travel size - $6.00
3. Coola Mineral Sunscreen Rose Essence Tinted Moisturizer - sample size - $36.00 for the full size
4. POP Beauty Pouty Pop Crayon Rose Romance - $4.99
5. Nailtini Nail Lacquer Mai Tai - $13.00
Total = $23.99

bhcosmetics California Collection Eyeshadow Sample

Pop Pouty Pop Crayon - Rose Romance

LtoR: Rose Romance{Pop Beauty}, bhcosmetics{Hollywood, San Francisco, Malibu}, Coola Mineral Sunscreen Tinted Moisturizer

All in all, this bag was a disappointment from last month's bag. The Coola Tinted Moisturizer smelled nice but the color probably won't work for me and at $36, I wouldn't buy the full size. The colors for the bhcosmetics Eyeshadow Samples were ok but nothing I'd run out and buy the palettes for. I haven't tried the Beach Spray but I know the brand and they make great products so I'm looking forward to trying it. I also liked the POP lip crayon. The Nailtini polish looks nice, an ok color, but I've never used that brand before so I can't speak for the formula or how well it wears.

Was the July bag worth $10? Not really for me.

FTC: This bag was purchased with my own money. I am not being compensated for this review.

Makeup and Clothing Haul

Hey everyone! I've been doing some shopping here and there and thought I'd share with you. I often find myself in the drugstore or Target on random days and almost always pick something up. For those days when I just buy one or two small things, you can find me posting an Instahaul here. For more grocery and random clothing hauls, I usually show those on my second channel. Let me know if you have any of the items I show here and how you like them. :)

Gel Liner Comparison | Drugstore & High End

I don't know about you, but I'm always in search of the perfect brown gel liner. Black seems to be a color that most companies do pretty well so I don't have issues finding one. Brown on the other hand is another story. Brown...seems like a normal color, right? Well there are SO many shades of brown liner I've found out through my trial and error. In this video I share with you some I've tried and the ones I like and those that didn't make the cut. Which is your favorite?

Revlon Bubbly

I think this is a fairly new color for Revlon even though it doesn't have the "New" sticker on it. I started noticing this one several months back. I think I literally picked it up each time I saw it but put it back. I kept telling myself I didn't need another pink nail polish. Well this one was different enough that I finally gave in. Let me say I just love it! The name says it all - it's a Bubbly-bubble gum, Barbie pink cream. The only down side is that the formula wasn't great. I typically love Revlon polish formulas but this one seemed thick. I got a few streaks with the first coat but the second was better. I could have even done a third but it was time for bed. Maybe it's just my bottle? Anyway, it's a great color for you pink lovers out there and I'm glad I finally got it. Do you own this one?

Cover Girl Snow Storm

Thought I'd change it up a bit with the title of my nail polish posts. If you've followed me a while, then you know I typically post the actual polish name. I thought I'd start adding the brand as well. Let's face it, some of these names are crazy and might be confusing just seeing them on their own. Let me know what ya think. ;)

So this is the second of the two most recent Cover Girl polishes I picked up at Walmart. Like I mentioned in the last post, the display seemed to have some new shades. I was in the mood for lighter ones that day and this white caught my attention. Who doesn't love a good white polish now and then? BUT let's be honest, white can be super tricky and a pain to apply. I knew I loved the formula of these Cover Girl polishes so I was hoping I'd luck out with this one. I DID!  This is just a straight-up white cream. Can you believe this is with two coats?! And I didn't have to use any tricks like matte base coat in-between or anything like that. Nice right? So if you're looking for a good white formula, I highly recommend this one!

"sunlight" - ok not really. We've not seen the sun in days.

Cover Girl Forever Frosted

Nail of the Day ~ Forever Frosted by Cover Girl

Are you scratching your head about the name like I was? Yeah, it totally isn't frosted at all. It is pretty though and I'm so glad I tried it! On a whim {like most of my shopping} I picked this up at Walmart. I noticed the Cover Girl display looked like it had more colors than I've seen at most stores. I picked up two new ones and thought I'd try this one first. I'd describe it as nude pink cream. Really reminds me of Essie Ballet Slippers but a tad more white. Oh and this formula, totally blows Essie out of the water on pale shades. I got away with two coats and it applied great {like all the Cover Girl polishes}. If you're a lover of the paler nude/pink shades but hate the streaks, give this one a try!

LtoR: Cover Girl Forever Frosted, Essie Ballet Slippers, Revlon Colorstay Pale Cashmere, Wet n Wild Sugar Coat
I thought I'd compare Forever Frosted to some of my other similar shades. By far the Cover Girl has the best application and needs only two coats. Of course with any pale shade you can do three if you prefer. Like I mentioned, it's the closest to Ballet Slippers but a tad more white. I didn't care for the Revlon application or the paleness of the shade. The Wet n Wild is a pretty shade but the brush is WAY too big and made for sloppy application.
Do you have any of these shades? Which do you prefer? I'm always a sucker for a pale nude pink. ;)
